How to find us

5 minutes from Junction 11 of the M4 at Reading. 20 minutes from Reading Train Station. 40 minutes from London.

From J11 of the M4 follow directions towards A33 Basingstoke, then follow the signs for Mereoak Park and Ride. At the roundabout turn right (Park and Ride will be on your right), then first left into Great Lea. Continue for approx 1 mile and just before going over the motorway turn left into Pingewood Road South. Lagoona Park is located on the right.

Celebrate the sunshine with friends, family or your hard working colleagues. Our inflatable aqua park has everything you need for a fun-filled day out, whether you’re team building, celebrating a birthday or just want to let loose on the water with a few friends.

Inflatable slides, obstacles, climbing walls await you on the lake, and if you fancy something a bit more on the wild side, we also have jet skis and off-road buggies for hire to wet your extreme sports appetite.

All our events, facilities, equipment and structures are completely safe for all; we provide you with all the safety gear you’ll need for your time at the park, including buoyancy aids and soft helmets for under 16 year olds. Everything is always fully supervised by our trained personnel and qualified lifeguards.

The aqua park is suitable for ages 6 and over – providing they’re taller than 1.2m – and we welcome groups looking to celebrate birthdays, hen dos and stag dos, too. Schools, colleges, clubs and companies are also welcome.

If you’d rather take in the idyllic views – or relax after a hard day on the water – we’ve got our own bar and grill. Our balcony area gives a full view of the lake, so you can enjoy watching all the fun from afar.

FAQs

A: Sessions run in the aqua park from 10am to 5pm – please note that the last 50 minute session will commence at 5pm. We open from April until the end of September for a spring and summer of fun!

A: Safety in all things is a key goal of ours. Every activity is supervised by fully trained lifeguards, and we also have an extensive selection of safety equipment available as standard and for purchase.

A: We welcome splashers aged 6 and above, providing they are at least 1.2m in height.

A: No the sessions are only on a 50 minute basis

A: Yes, we have a secure off road free of charge car park with approximately 500 spaces which is located just past our Jetski Members reception on the right

A: Yes, Group and Party discounts are available on request. Groups of 10+ people will receive a 10% discount, and groups of 20+ people will receive a 15% discount. Off Peak (Weekdays) "Exclusive Use" £750 (Max no: 100 persons). Peak (Weekends & Bank Holidays) "Exclusive Use" £1,500 (Max no: 100). Larger Groups "Exclusive Use" (100+ price to be confirmed)

A: No food and drink from outside of the park is permitted. We have vending machines on site, and a Bar & Grill located upstairs in our clubhouse.

A: You can! But all dogs must be kept on a lead, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after them.

A: While you cannot use a selfie stick, you can use your phone or camera at the park. We have protective covers on site available for purchase if you’re concerned about your device falling into the water.

A: We welcome walk-ins but do charge extra for this. In order to guarantee a time slot we advise booking in advance. The park does get very busy during the Summer months, so it’s always advisable to book in advance.

A. Yes. We have a number of secure lockers to store belongings while visiting the park within our wetsuit hire area but they are subject to availability.

What happens on the day?

On arrival at the centre you will be asked to report to the Aqua Park Reception located in the main clubhouse. Here you will bring your disclaimer (if completed prior to arrival) or complete a paper version at reception (under 16’s requiring a signature by parent or guardian).  You will be issued with a Buoyancy Aid and under 16's will also be required to wear a Water Helmet for additional safety. You will then proceed to the "Aqua Park Briefing Area" for a televised briefing then it’s time to get wet and begin the fun.

Jet Bike Hire

Come and get wet with us!! This experience is the ultimate adrenalin rush as you enjoy the thrill and excitement of Jet Bike Hire on our 25 acre freshwater lake just off junction 11 of the M4 at Reading. This wet and wild experience as you jump over the waves, will have you shouting for more whilst opening up the throttle and speeding around the lake to have a blast.

The Jet Bike hire sessions run for 20 minutes and we provide you with a Buoyancy Aid.  Wetsuits are available to hire at £5 per suit and water shoes for £6 to purchase if required. If you wear glasses please bring something to secure them with.

You will be given a full safety briefing and instruction provided by a qualified instructor before you will get the opportunity of getting on the water.

You will drive our instructor around the mile long anti clockwise course and when the instructor is confident in your ability to tackle the course you will be left to enjoy the remainder of your time alone.

If you wish your child to drive they can ...  so long as they are over 8 years of age and you are sat on the back. WE ALSO OFFER CHILDREN FROM 8 THE OPPORTUNITY TO DRIVE ONE OF OUR INSTRUCTORS AROUND THE LAKE - £20 FOR 10 MINUTES - BOOK ONLINE TODAY - THEY WILL LOVE IT!!

Our ‘Yamaha Waverunner’ Jet Bikes are large three seater machines and are serviced and maintained regularly to ensure that your experience is safe whilst being fun for yourself + friends and family They are also very steady on the water which gives novices to the sport confidence whilst driving. To add to the excitement you will be on the water with other machine users either hiring or with their own machines. Enjoy the turns, thrills and spills of the powerful and manoeuvrable bikes as you drive over the wake with the wind in your hair giving you a huge adrenaline boost.

The location of the lake provides wonderful evening sunsets which reflect on the lake making it a photographers dream. Sit and enjoy hot and cold food and an ice cold drink whilst enjoying the ever changing view and enjoy the holiday like atmosphere.

What happens on the day?

There is a minimum age of 16 years for individuals to drive the Jet Bike unaided, however children from 8 years can sit up front and drive under adult supervision.

On arrival at the centre you will be asked to sign a disclaimer (if you have not already completed our downloadable form) prior to participating, (with under 18’s requiring a signature by parent or guardian).

You will get changed and then proceed to the Jetski Briefing Area 10 minutes prior to your session.  Here you will receive a full safety briefing then it’s time to get on the water and begin the fun.

All drivers must complete a supervised practice lap with instructor then the remainder of the time is alone.

We are located at Pingewood near Reading and we have a large clubhouse with excellent changing facilities, showers & toilets. We have vending machines located outside with hot and cold drinks, crisps and snacks + ice cream. Also upstairs in the main clubhouse we have hot food available, ice creams, tea & coffee, snacks and alcohol available from our Bar & Grill with a large balcony overlooking the lake, providing a great view of the watersports.

Whether you're looking for a birthday or anniversary treat, time with the boys and girls on a stag or hen party or a day/evening out unwinding with your work colleagues this is the experience for you. Gift vouchers are also available to purchase for any special occasion.

Our Bar & Grill is great for children's parties during the day and also an exclusive evening venue for a private party from 7pm - 1am. We offer DJ, Prosecco Wall, Pick & Mix and photo prop area as well as many other items to ensure that your event is a success. Please call or email for further details.

Come on Down

There are also excellent viewing areas around the lake with tables & chairs, so your friends and family can watch all the action. We also have ample main lakeside car-park free of charge with space for around 500 cars.

Prepare to Get Dirty!

Experience the thrill as you drive around our off road anti-clockwise tree lined circuit testing your skills to the max as you tackle dirt and water consisting of numerous turns, straights and chicanes. This is also one of only a few Dirt Buggy circuits in the UK.

Adrenalin junkies will be in their element tackling the challenges facing them on the numerous turns, straights and chicanes.

All drivers will be assessed during their first lap.

Our Dirt Buggy experience is the perfect gift. A great group activity for Stags, Hens, Corporates or just as a celebration.

Weekends and selected weekdays with strict arrival time 45 minutes prior to booked session time.

But don't forget to bring old and spare clothes as you will be getting dirty!!

Please arrive 45 minutes prior to your session time.

On arrival at the centre please proceed to the Dirt Buggy reception. You will be asked to sign a disclaimer (but for ease download this from our website and bring it with you) prior to participating, (with under 18’s requiring a signature by parent or guardian).

Ensure you are in the 'Briefing Area' 15 minutes prior for rules of the track, full safety briefing and driving instruction. Then it’s time to put on your helmet and make your way down to the pit area.

All drivers will be assessed during their first lap and then the time is your own to get down and dirty!

Lagoona Bar & Grill offers high quality food and drink to all visitors in a family oriented atmosphere. The Bar & Grill welcomes general visitors to the lake coming to watch the activities, a member with their own jet ski or jet bike, hiring an off road dirt buggy, or having a session on the Inflatable Aqua Park.

We cater for children’s parties in a sectioned off "Party Zone" area of the room with a happy birthday theme, therefore making the birthday even more special. With the option of pre-ordered hot meals from the kids menu this ensures that when the children arrive that their food is already prepared and waiting for the little darling to devour immediately and parents are able to bring a birthday cake on site for the special occasion. Pre-booking is required and for menu options, general enquiries and a party booking form please contact katie@lagoonapark.com. Price is £8 per child.

The room has over one hundred covers therefore ensuring that other visitors may also eat inside or outside on the large balcony overlooking our 25 acre lake. The view from the balcony is unobstructed and an ideal way to watch visitors getting wet on the water.

Situated just off junction 11 of the M4 at Reading this exclusive location is located upstairs in our clubhouse accessible via steps to the side of the building close to the lake. It offers everything that you want after enjoying your time either on the water or on our off road dirt buggy track located behind the clubhouse on two acres of land. Alternatively if you are just visiting the site to watch the activities you are welcome to enjoy the food and drink on offer.

The Bar and Grill is decorated in a rustic “grey and red” warehouse theme with wooden scaffold board tables and metal chairs. All tables are interchangeable and can be located wherever required, also high red stools are also an additional feature to the room.

It is also the perfect location for a private party whether it be a birthday, anniversary, christening, wedding reception or just a reason to get together with friends and family and enjoy a fun evening socialising and watching the sun go down on the lake whilst dancing the night away.  The venue available to hire until 2am and is available all year round from 7pm.

What's Available

We offer a wide range of hot freshly cooked food including a kids menu's making the location a great place to enjoy a meal after being on the water or dirt buggies. Tea and coffee is available and also soft and alcoholic drinks served from our bar within the room. Vending machines are also located around the site for additional food and we also have a "Snack Shack" downstairs for hot and cold drinks, chocolate, crisps, ice creams & slush drinks to enjoy during your stay with us.

Location

Our location is also available to hire for Evening Private Hire from 7pm - 2am, whether a Birthday celebration, Anniversary, Wedding Reception, Christening, Halloween party, New Years Eve or Christmas occasion. With a capacity of 180 persons and a licence until 1am this is a must for any party goer. Also ideal for companies looking for an offsite meeting location followed by a bit of team building on the water or land afterwards.

Parking

We have a onsite car park for jetski members only and also a very large free car park for jetski visitors & hirers, dirt buggy hirers and also aqua park visitors.  The car park is free and is located just past the jetski members carpark on the right.  There is a path between the road and lake to walk along giving a pleasant view of the lake attractions.

The location of the lake provides wonderful evening sunsets which reflect on the lake making it a photographers dream. Sit and enjoy food and an ice cold drink whilst enjoying the ever changing view and enjoy the holiday like atmosphere.

Storage is subject to availability and pre-booking is required, especially during the Summer months.
Monthly standing order payments on a day in the month to suit you are the preferred option and will eliminate any late payment charges.
Sit Down Jet Bikes and Jet Boats are stored outside within a secure locked compound within designated bays.
Stand-Up Jet Ski’s are stored within steel containers located in secure locked compound.
24hr CCTV and other major security measures are installed around the facility to ensure total peace of mind.
Insurance Liability will be with the owner of the ski, although Lagoona Park will maintain satisfactory security precautions.
Any changes to details when booking in must be informed immediately to Lagoona Park.
Payment is on a monthly basis ideally via standing order but also quarterly via invoice (late payment will incur additional charges).
Please note this is storage only – launching and recovery of the ski is the owner’s responsibility even though we will assist if necessary

Lagoona Park is a 28 acre multi activity site comprising of a 25 acre weed controlled lake, for Annual & Day Members, Jet Bike Hire, Aqua Park, Dirt Buggies, Bar & Grill and Storage facilities.

We are open 6 days per week (closed Tuesday) from 10:00 – 19:00 light permitting.

We are a family run lake and welcome Members with their own machines from April – 26 October 2019

Hire is available from May – 29 September and includes buoyancy aid, tuition and insurance. Wetsuits are available to hire on site @ £5 per suit, water shoes to purchase @ £6 per pair & towels to purchase @ £5

We have a separate car park solely for Members owning a jet bike or jet ski with a double slipway for easy launching. Friends and family arriving in separate vehicles will need to park in our Main Car Park located approximately 80 metres on the right hand side from the members car park. There is no charge for parking.

Our mile long course on the lake must be followed around a selection of buoys in an Anti-Clockwise direction which allows all riders the enjoyment of riding at a speed which suits them (depending on their machine and experience). There is a Notice with Jetski Course and Lake Rules located on the Jetski Reception and at the bottom of the slipway. Please ensure that Members and visitors have read and understand the notice prior to going on the lake.

A separate area to the right of the lake is buoyed off for our Inflatable Aqua Park. It is under supervision at all times by qualified lifeguards to ensure maximum safety at all times. THIS AREA IS A RESTRICTED ZONE FOR JET BIKES & JET SKI’S!

Dirt Buggies – Experience the throaty roar of our Dirt Buggies steering around our outdoor anti-clockwise tree lined circuit, designed to challenge you as you undertake our unique dirt track consisting of numerous turns, straights, muddy course and chicanes! Adrenalin junkies will be in their element tackling the challenges facing them on the track.

Dogs are allowed on site but must be kept on a lead AT ALL TIMES and all mess MUST BE CLEARED UP BY OWNER.

We also have a zero tolerance on alcohol & drug consumption whilst using our lake therefore …. “DON’T DRINK TAKE DRUGS AND DRIVE” – anyone under the influence will be asked to leave the site immediately!

NO FOOD OR DRINK TO BE BROUGHT ON SITE AT ANY TIME. Food is available from our vending machines & upstairs at the Bar & Grill in our clubhouse.

  1. Interpretation
    1.1 The following definitions and rules of interpretation shall apply in these conditions:
    “Centre” means Lagoona Park Limited, Pingewood Road South, Pingewood, Reading, Berkshire, RG30 3UH;
    “Conditions” means these terms and conditions for the provision of Services;
    “Contract” means the contract between the Centre and the Customer for the provision of Services;
    “Customer” means any person, company, firm or other legal entity, including any employees, agents or sub-contractors which places an order or purchases a Service from the Centre;
    “Member” means any person who is an annual or day member at the centre;
    “Service” means any course, product, service or facility offered by the Centre to the Customer.
    1.2 Where the Conditions refer to “We, Us, or Our”, this shall mean the Centre (together with it’s employees, agents and contractors). Where the Conditions refer to “You, Your, or Yourself”, this shall mean the Customer (or the organization you represent or work for).
    1.3 The headings in these Conditions are for convenience only and shall not affect their applicability.
    1.4 A reference to a law is a reference to as it is in force for the time being taking account of any amendment, extension, application or re-enactment and includes any subordinate legislation for the time being in force made under it.
    1.5 Any reference to “writing” or “written” includes email.
    2. Application of terms.
    2.1 These Conditions are the only conditions upon which the Centre is prepared to deal with the Customer. The Conditions shall be incorporated into the Contact to the entire exclusion of all other terms and conditions (including any terms or conditions which the Customer purports to apply under any purchase order, confirmation of order, specification or other document).
    2.2 These Conditions will prevail over any inconsistent terms endorsed on, delivered with, contained in or referred to in any purchase order, confirmation of order, specification or any other document or communication received from the Customer or implied by law, trade custom, practice or course of dealing.
    2.3 The Customer’s purchase order, or the Customer’s acceptance of a quotation for Services by the Centre, constitutes an offer by the Customer to purchase the Services specified in it on these Conditions. No offer placed by the Customer shall be accepted by the Centre other than:
    2.3.1 by a written acknowledgement issued and executed by the Centre; or
    2.3.2 (if earlier) by the Centre starting to provide the Services,
    when a contract for the supply and purchase of those Services on these Conditions will be established. The Customer’s standard terms and conditions (if any) attached to, enclosed with or referred to in any purchase order or other document shall not govern the Contract.
    3. Booking
    3.1 The Centre opening hours are from 10.00am – 7.00pm 6 days per week (closed Tuesday)
    3.2 All bookings are for the current season i.e. May – end September. Aqua Park from 10-5pm and Jet Bike hire from 10.30 – 5pm 6 days per week. Weekends & selected weekdays for Dirt Buggy Hire
    3.3 To find the right experience, please read hire session description carefully available on our website at www.lagoonapark.com under hire, or on our promotion material. When the booking terms and conditions have been read and understood, please make your booking in the following way;
    3.3.1 either online via our website www.lagoonapark.com under ‘book now’ completing the booking details as requested or in person on the day.
    3.3.2 all hire experiences booked online must be paid prior to arrival.
    3.3.3 booking with a Lagoona Park gift voucher must be booked over the telephone or in person. We require; name, contact number, type of experience, date & time of experience & voucher number. Voucher must also be brought to reception upon arrival.
    3.3.4 or via gift voucher from another supplier (of which Lagoona Park has an agreement with). In order to confirm booking Lagoona Park requires name, contact number, experience company, date, time, voucher number & booking reference. Voucher to be brought to reception upon arrival.
    3.4 Please note that individuals cannot be provided with credit terms.
    3.5 An official purchase order will be required to secure a booking with regard to corporate bookings
    3.6 customers to be aware of the age limit on personal watercraft for hire (16 years for Jet Bikes). Any minor under 16 years of age using any of our hire fleet will be unable to use the machine alone. A child may accompany an adult as a passenger at an additional charge and any child over 8 years of age can sit at the front and drive the machine under the supervision of the adult as a passenger.
    3.6b customers to be aware of the age limit on the aqua park for hire with a minimum age of 6 years and height restriction of 1.2m applies, check website for dirt buggies or ask at specific reception for details.
    3.7 all customers to report to the relevant reception (45 minutes prior to their booking time) to complete and sign a hire/disclaimer form if not done so online. (this can also be downloaded from the website, completed and brought to reception upon arrival). Booking confirmation paperwork to be brought to reception as proof of purchase and gift vouchers should be produced also at this time.
    3.8 customers to ensure that they are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs at any time whilst using our personal watercraft, aqua park & dirt buggies and understand that they will be refused entry if the centre believes alcohol or drugs have been consumed, they will also lose their session without the ability to rebook and any monies paid lost.
    3.9 customers to supervise their children at all times whilst on the park including the car park.
    3.10 customers to read and understand the rules of the lake and safety notices located around the site when arriving on site.
    3.11 customers to ensure that all dogs are kept on a lead at all times with any mess cleared up.
    3.12 customer to ensure that all rubbish is deposited in bins provided around the site.
    3.13 customers to ensure that buoyancy aids are worn at all times whilst on the water.
    3.14 customers are not allowed to bring food and drink on site at any time as this facility is provided at the centre.
    4. Payment
    4.1 all fees are inclusive of VAT. All bookings cannot be confirmed or reserved by the Centre until receipt of the appropriate payment is received.
    4.2 payment of the hire session is required in full at time of booking for individuals.
    4.3 payment for Group bookings (Hire/Stag/Corporate sessions) must be paid in full two (2) weeks prior to the commencement of the event. A 50% deposit would be required at time of booking.
    4.4 the Centre reserves the right to cancel any booking without prior notice if full payment is not received in accordance with conditions 4.2, 4.3 or 4.4 (as applicable).
    4.5 credit and debit cards accepted are: MasterCard; Visa; Switch and Delta.
    4.6 experience providers in association with Lagoona Park selling their own vouchers agree to pay within 30 days after receipt of invoice from Lagoona Park / or entry on the experience providers online invoicing system.
    5. Amendments to Hire Bookings by the Customer
    5.1 the Customer may change a hire date provided that the original booking is made no less than 48 hours prior to commencement.
    5.2 if the Customer requests to cancel a booking, no less than forty eight (48) hours notice must be given, otherwise no refund will be given, such request shall be dealt with according to condition 6 (Cancellations).
    6. Cancellations
    6.1 cancellations by the Customer must be made no less than forty-eight (48 hours prior to commencement of hire session). After that time no refund will be given due to the lack of time to rebook the session to another person and resulting in lost revenue by the centre. This will be highlighted at time of booking on our terms and conditions. Only consideration would be with proof of a doctor’s certificate.
    6.2 customers are advised to insure against and check whether their own personal insurance policy provides cover against certain unavoidable cancellation.
    6.3 the Centre will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that your hire session takes place and in accordance with the booking. However, the Centre reserves the right to cancel any booking without prior notice and at any time where we believe on reasonable grounds that cancellation is necessary due to emergency, unsuitable or inclement conditions.
    6.4 where the Centre cancels a hire session, Customer will be offered the following options: – a full refund or an alternative date & time.
    7. Membership
    7.1 annual, day and multi members may visit the lake from April – end October during opening hours from 10.00am – 7.00pm 6 days per week (closed Tuesday)
    7.2 all personal watercraft to be removed from the water at 6.30pm for lake closure at 7.00pm
    7.3 new Annual & Day members will be required to complete a membership form at initial check in and then photographed and issued with a membership card which must be brought to reception upon each visit and scanned to confirm access to the site upon each visit.
    7.4 this card will be reactivated at the beginning of the new season annually.
    7.5 loss of the card will result in a £5 replacement charge.
    7.6 all members must provide a copy of their current valid personal watercraft insurance upon their first visit and must ensure that expired insurance is updated.
    7.7 details of other friends or family using their machine must be noted on the relevant membership form prior to them using the lake.
    7.8 any minors using their personal watercraft must be named on insurance and also have completed a RYA Personal Watercraft Proficiency Course therefore agreeing that the minimum age limit for stand up jet ski’s is 14 years and sit down jet bikes is 16 years whilst using any personal watercraft at Lagoona Park.
    7.8 all members friends and family may also use the lake during opening hours but will be the responsibility of the member whilst on site both on and off the water. They must also have been made aware of the lake safety notice and rules of the lake located on the Jet Bike Reception wall at the top of the slipway and also at the entrance from the main carpark. They must also wear a buoyancy aid whilst on the water.
    7.9 all members are to ensure that anyone using their personal watercraft is insured and legally old enough to ride the machine unaided. Each rider must be trained by the personal watercraft owner on machine controls, use of lanyard, course direction, start and stop procedures, keeping their distance behind other water users and awareness of other riders on the lake, including any persons who may be in the lake due to capsize. They must be taken around the anticlockwise course first as a passenger and then they will take the personal watercraft owner around the same course, ensuring that they are proficient on the machine and therefore in full control whilst on the lake before allowing them to ride alone, including that speed is reduced when coming towards the banks of the lake.
    7.10 members & their visitors will not be allowed access if they are under the influence of alcohol or drugs upon arrival at reception.
    7.11 members must supervise their children at all times whilst on site and also in the car parks and crossing the slipway.
    7.12 members to ensure that all dogs are kept on a lead at all times and any mess cleared.
    7.13 no food or drink to be brought on site at any time.
    7.14 all rubbish to be placed in the bins provided around the site.
    7.16 during weekdays we suggest members phone prior to arrival (due to private hire of the lake) whereby access will be denied
    7.18 members to ensure that buoyancy aids are worn at all times whilst on the water, including relaying this to family and friends and children paddling.
    8. Storage
    8.1 There are several payment methods available either £40 via standing order on a monthly basis, (which is our preferred option and reduces the chance of late payment charges) Customer to set this up via their bank on a day in the month to suit them, with their surname as a reference. Or via BACS, card or cash invoiced on a quarterly basis (£120).
    8.2 late payment after 30 days will incur an administration fee of £10 + VAT
    8.3 late payment after 60 days will incur an administration fee of £20 + VAT
    8.4 late payment after 90 days customer signs to agree that the title of goods shall pass to Lagoona Park who reserve the right to sell the said goods after carrying out any necessary repair work required in order to recoup whatever monies are outstanding at that time including a selling fee of £500 + VAT with the balance of any such sale forwarded to the owner of the personal watercraft, once all costs have been deducted.
    8.5 launching and recovery of personal watercraft is the members responsibility (although assistance will be provided if required)
    8.6 Lagoona Park will not be held responsible for any damage incurred whilst stored
    8.7 insurance liability will be with the owner of the personal watercraft
    8.8 storage form must be completed and signed by the owner when storing with Lagoona Park. Any changes to information entered on storage form must be notified to the centre immediately in order that the centre can maintain up to date records.
    8.9 satisfactory security precautions will be provided by the centre with CCTV recording in operation at all times, alarm system in operation and security lighting in place.
    8.10 a minimum of one week’s notice of cancellation must be given in order to remove the personal watercraft
    8.11 access to personal watercraft from the storage area requires prior notice (limited access from Dec – March annually due to closure)
    8.12 all personal watercraft must be signed out by a member of staff at reception before leaving the centre.
    8.13 the use or removal of a stored personal watercraft from the storage area by a friend or family member will require confirmation from the owner, and must include proof of identity either via driving license or passport before the personal watercraft can be used or removed
    8.14 also confirmation that the user is insured and instructed prior by the owner on its operation and is aware of the rules of the lake and safety notices displayed around the site prior to use of the said personal watercraft. This must be done at reception before access will be provided.
    8.15 all personal watercraft & trailers stored will be checked for any damage prior to acceptance into the storage area (a note of any damage will be noted on the form and kept on file) and customer will initial to agree to any existing damage at time of initial storage.
    9. PWC Insurance Repair
    9.1 customer calls to get a quote for the damage to the personal watercraft
    9.2 the Centre will forward a quote via email to customer
    9.3 the Centre will take photographs of any damage if required
    9.4 only when the Centre receives confirmation via email from the insurance company will the work be undertaken
    9.5 upon completion of said work an invoice will be forwarded to the customer
    9.6 when payment has been made the personal watercraft can be removed from the Centre.
    10. Safety
    10.1 In addition to enjoyment and learning new skills, safety is of paramount importance at the Centre for all visitors and staff at the site. Clearly any water sports and adventure activities are hazardous by their nature and participants, parents or guardians must accept that there are risks and the inevitable bumps and scrapes which happen during the thrills and spills of fast-moving activities. In providing a safe system of work and to manage associated risks:
    10.1.1 we employ staff trained by RYA PWC Instructors;
    10.1.2 we have first aiders on site at all times
    10.1.3 we provide appropriate clothing and equipment for each hire session but suggest water shoes due to uneven walkways & slippery areas and if glasses are worn something to secure them.
    10.1.4 we instruct each and every person hiring our machines on safety both on and off the water, start & stop procedures & awareness of other riders whilst on the lake, including being aware of riders in the lake due to capsize.
    10.1.5 the instructor will be taken by the customer using a jet bike around the lake as a passenger showing them the controls of the machine and also the “anti-clockwise course” to ensure that the customer is in control and comfortable to take the controls unaided.
    10.2 customer must comply with all safety guidelines and instructions given by the Centre and its staff.
    10.3all Customers are responsible for ensuring that he/she and/or its members familiarize themselves with the Centre’s lake rules and safety notices located in many areas close to the lake, around the site and in reception.
    10.4 fire regulations and First Aid Post are located in reception in case of emergency.
    10.5 all centre jet bikes are visible whilst on the lake via a luminous front locker cover with a number.
    10.6 if a customer is under the influence of alcohol or drugs they will not be able to use the lake or equipment and their session will be cancelled without a refund immediately
    10.7 buoyancy Aids to be worn by all persons using the lake at all times.
    10.8 all lake users must ensure that they reduce the speed of the machine to tick over whilst coming towards the bank.
    10.9 customers can bring dogs on site but they must be on a lead, be responsible for them at all times and must clear up any excrement on site.
    10.10no food or drink to be brought on site at any time.
    11. Health
    11.1.1 Customers participating in hire sessions or services at the Centre must be in general good health and must satisfy themselves that the activity is within their abilities (weight restriction applies to jet bikes of 20 stone) which will be advised at time of booking.
    11.1.2 The Customer must make the Centre aware of any injuries, disabilities and/or illness.
    11.1.3 The Centre reserves the right to refuse a booking on medical grounds if the medical condition is considered to be detrimental to the safety and smooth running of the hire session.
    11.1.4the centre reserves the right to refuse a booking if the Customer is under the influence of alcohol or drugs
    12. Complaints
    12.1 If the Customer encounters a problem or issue relating to the services being provided by the Centre, the Centre will try to resolve such problem or issue as soon as possible. If the problem or issue fails to be resolved, the Customer must report it to the relevant instructor or at the Centre’s reception.
    12.2 In the event that the Customer does not receive a satisfactory response following the event the customer may request to meet the Centre’s management team.
    13. Unruly Behaviour
    13.1 The customer and any member of the customer’s party is required to have consideration for other people. If, in the Centre’s reasonable opinion, the Customer or any member of the Customer’s party behaves in such a way as to cause or be likely to cause danger, upset or distress to any third party or damage to property both on and off the water, the Centre is entitled, without prior written notice, to terminate the use of facilities of the person(s) concerned. Such persons will be required to leave the Centre’s property and no refunds will be made and the centre will not pay any expenses or costs incurred as a result of the termination
    13.2 The Customer shall be liable for any damage or loss suffered by the Centre as a result of disruptive behaviour.
    13.3 No splashing spectators or any children at any time
    13.4 If a customer has evidence of drinking or alcohol can be detected they will be refused permission to hire any watercraft as the centre has a strict No Alcohol Policy.
    14. Limitations of Liability – THE CUSTOMER’S ATTENTION IS PARTICULARLY DRAWN TO THE PROVISONS OF THIS CONDITION
    14.1 This Condition 11 sets out the entire financial liability of the Centre (including any liability for the acts or omissions of its employees, agents and subcontractors) to the Customer in respect of:
    14.1.1 any breach of the Contract;
    14.1.2 any use made by the Customer of the Services;
    14.1.3 any representation, statement or tortuous act or omission (including negligence) arising under or in connection with this Contract.
    14.2 All warranties, conditions and other terms implied by statute or common law are, to the fullest extent permitted by law, excluded from the Contract.
    14.3 Nothing in these Conditions limits or excludes the liability of the Centre:
    14.3.1 for death or personal injury resulting from negligence by the Centre; or
    14.3.2 for any damage or liability incurred by the Customer as a result of fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation by the Centre.
    14.4 Personal property which belongs to the Customer is at all times the sole responsibility of the Customer. The Centre shall not accept any liability for loss of or damage caused to the Customer’s personal property unless any loss or damage is due to the negligence of the Centre or its representatives.
    14.4.1 the centre has lockers at reception in order to store any customers personal items
    14.5 Subject to conditions 14.2, 14.3 and 14.4:
    14.5.1 the Centre shall not be liable, whether in tort (including for negligence or breach of statutory duty), contract, misrepresentation or otherwise for: loss of profits; loss of business; depletion of goodwill and/or similar losses; loss of anticipated savings; loss of goods; loss of contract; loss of use; loss of corruption of data or information; or any special, indirect, consequential or pure economic loss, costs, damages, charges or expenses; and
    14.5.2 the Centre’s total liability in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty), misrepresentation, restitution or otherwise arising in connection with the performance or contemplated performance of the Contract shall be limited to the price paid by the Customer for the Services.
    14.6 For the avoidance of doubt, the Centre shall have no liability for any loss or damage suffered by the Customer or any other person as a consequence of any negligence or wrongful act on the part of the Customer.
    14.7 The Customer is advised to insure against injury or losses incurred during their booking with the Centre and arrange suitable medical cover for such booking.
    15. Intellectual Property
    The copyright and all other intellectual property rights in the products and services shown in Centre’s brochures, website and other materials shall at all times remain the property of the Centre.
    16. Photographs
    16.1 photographs taken at Lagoona Park may appear in our brochure, Website, Facebook & Instagram pages and marketing materials.
    16.2 if the Customers does not wish to be photographed this should be raised with the photographer.
    16.3 all photos taken are copyrighted by Lagoona Park and must not be copied in whole or in part without the express permission of Lagoona Park.
    16.4 any person wishing to take photographs at the centre needs to acquire confirmation prior to proceeding.
    17. Data Protection
    17.1 Lagoona Park takes appropriate measures to prevent unauthorized or unlawful processing of personal data. Personal information requested by the Centre at the time of booking or any other subsequent information is held in its original form and on computer.
    17.2 The Centre:
    17.2.1 is the data controller for the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998;
    17.2.2 will process your personal information in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998; and
    17.2.3 will not divulge your personal information onto third parties.
    17.3 by providing us with your personal information to process a booking, you agree that your personal information can be:
    17.3.1 held and accessed by the Centre’s authorised staff; and
    17.3.2 used to contact you in the future either by email or post to send you e-news and/or marketing materials (including information about future events).
    17.4 you can exercise your right to opt out of receiving such e-news and/or marketing materials at any time by contacting us by email at enquiries@lagoonapark.com or by telephone on 0118 988 5959.
    18. Circumstances Beyond our Control
    The Centre shall have no liability to the Customer under the Contract if it is prevented from or delayed in performing its obligations under the Contract or from carrying on its business directly or indirectly by any acts, events, omissions or accidents beyond it’s reasonable control including but not limited to, act of God, war, invasion, rebellion, riot, civil commotion, disorder, malicious damage, fire, flood, epidemic, quarantine restriction, strikes, lock-outs or other industrial disputes (whether involving the workforce of the Centre or any other party), failure of a utility service or transport network, compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, accident, breakdown of plant or machinery, unusually severe weather or energy supply disruption or default of suppliers or subcontractors.
    19. Rights of Third Parties
    A person who is not a party to this agreement (except where applicable) any successors and (permitted assigns) shall not have any rights under or in connection with it by virtue of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
    20. Waiver
    The Centre reserves the right to waive any or all Conditions.
    21. Quality Control
    Lagoona Park endeavour to provide the best quality experience service to all customers visiting our premises.
    23. Insurance
    Full Employer and Public Liability Insurance is valid and renewed annually.
    24. Applicable Law
    24.1 The Contract and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law.
    24.2 The Customer irrevocably agrees that any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with the Contract or its subject matter will be dealt with under the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
    25. Booking Form Undertaking
    PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT CAREFULLY. THE CENTRE’S ACCEPTANCE OF ANY BOOKING WILL ONLY BE DONE SUBJECT TO YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE CONDITIONS.
    You, the Customer, have had the terms and conditions of booking brought to your attention, including the terms of cancellation and you understand that:
    – the deposit is not refundable once a booking has been confirmed, unless the hire session is cancelled by the Centre;
    – refunds due to cancellation are in accordance with the terms and conditions of booking;
    – you shall be liable to pay the session fees if less than forty eight (48) hours’ notice of cancellation is given;
    – you shall forfeit all fees if less than forty eight (48) hours’ notice of cancellation is given;
    – by making this booking you agree that you are:
    – sufficiently proficient in water to undertake the hire session in connection with your booking;
    – physically fit to take part in any activity during hire session in connection with your booking; willing to comply with all safety –
    – regulations as required by the Centre;
    – aware that we have advised you to be in possession of adequate cancellation insurance against certain unavoidable cancellation.- – aware and agree to comply with our No Alcohol Policy whilst using our machines
    – you have read and accept our full terms and conditions which are also available on our website www.lagoonapark.com or by
    contacting our bookings department on 0118 988 5959; and
    – you accept that the Centre is not liable whatsoever in respect of loss or damage to personal property not caused by the
    negligence of the Centre or its staff.

From J11 of the M4 follow directions towards A33 Basingstoke, then follow the signs for Mereoak Park and Ride. At the roundabout turn right (Park and Ride will be on your right), then first left into Great Lea. Continue for approx 1 mile and just before going over the motorway turn left into Pingewood Road South. Lagoona Park is located on the right.

Celebrate the sunshine with friends, family or your hard working colleagues. Our inflatable aqua park has everything you need for a fun-filled day out, whether you’re team building, celebrating a birthday or just want to let loose on the water with a few friends.

Inflatable slides, obstacles, climbing walls await you on the lake, and if you fancy something a bit more on the wild side, we also have jet skis and off-road buggies for hire to wet your extreme sports appetite.

All our events, facilities, equipment and structures are completely safe for all; we provide you with all the safety gear you’ll need for your time at the park, including buoyancy aids and soft helmets for under 16 year olds. Everything is always fully supervised by our trained personnel and qualified lifeguards.

The aqua park is suitable for ages 6 and over – providing they’re taller than 1.2m – and we welcome groups looking to celebrate birthdays, hen dos and stag dos, too. Schools, colleges, clubs and companies are also welcome.

If you’d rather take in the idyllic views – or relax after a hard day on the water – we’ve got our own bar and grill. Our balcony area gives a full view of the lake, so you can enjoy watching all the fun from afar.

FAQs

A: Sessions run in the aqua park from 10am to 5pm – please note that the last 50 minute session will commence at 5pm. We open from April until the end of September for a spring and summer of fun!

A: Safety in all things is a key goal of ours. Every activity is supervised by fully trained lifeguards, and we also have an extensive selection of safety equipment available as standard and for purchase.

A: We welcome splashers aged 6 and above, providing they are at least 1.2m in height.

A: No the sessions are only on a 50 minute basis

A: Yes, we have a secure off road free of charge car park with approximately 500 spaces which is located just past our Jetski Members reception on the right

A: Yes, Group and Party discounts are available on request. Groups of 10+ people will receive a 10% discount, and groups of 20+ people will receive a 15% discount. Off Peak (Weekdays) "Exclusive Use" £750 (Max no: 100 persons). Peak (Weekends & Bank Holidays) "Exclusive Use" £1,500 (Max no: 100). Larger Groups "Exclusive Use" (100+ price to be confirmed)

A: No food and drink from outside of the park is permitted. We have vending machines on site, and a Bar & Grill located upstairs in our clubhouse.

A: You can! But all dogs must be kept on a lead, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after them.

A: While you cannot use a selfie stick, you can use your phone or camera at the park. We have protective covers on site available for purchase if you’re concerned about your device falling into the water.

A: We welcome walk-ins but do charge extra for this. In order to guarantee a time slot we advise booking in advance. The park does get very busy during the Summer months, so it’s always advisable to book in advance.

A. Yes. We have a number of secure lockers to store belongings while visiting the park within our wetsuit hire area but they are subject to availability. What happens on the day?

On arrival at the centre you will be asked to report to the Aqua Park reception located in the main clubhouse. Here you will bring your disclaimer (if completed prior to arrival) or complete one in reception via an ipad. (under 16’s requiring a signature by parent or guardian).  You will be issued with a buoyancy aid and under 16's will also be required to wear a water helmet for additional safety. You will then proceed to the "briefing area" then it’s time to get wet and begin the fun.

Jet Bike Hire

Come and get wet with us!! This experience is the ultimate adrenalin rush as you enjoy the thrill and excitement of Jet Bike Hire on our 25 acre freshwater lake just off junction 11 of the M4 at Reading. This wet and wild experience as you jump over the waves, will have you shouting for more whilst opening up the throttle and speeding around the lake to have a blast.

The Jet Ski hire sessions run for 20 minutes and we provide you with a buoyancy aid.  Wetsuits are available to hire at £5 per suit and water shoes for £6 to purchase if required. If you wear glasses please bring something to secure them with.

You will be given a full safety briefing and instruction provided by a qualified instructor before you will get the opportunity of getting on the water.

You will drive our instructor around the mile long anti clockwise course and when the instructor is confident in your ability to tackle the course you will be left to enjoy the remainder of your time alone.

If you wish your child to drive they can ...  so long as they are over 8 years of age and you are sat on the back.

You can drive alone for £40 or add a friend, family member or up to two children for an additional £10 per person (but they are passengers only).

Our ‘Yamaha Waverunner’ Jet Bikes are large three seater machines and are serviced and maintained regularly to ensure that your experience is safe whilst being fun for yourself + friends and family They are also very steady on the water which gives novices to the sport confidence whilst driving. To add to the excitement you will be on the water with other machine users either hiring or with their own machines. Enjoy the turns, thrills and spills of the powerful and manoeuvrable bikes as you drive over the wake with the wind in your hair giving you a huge adrenaline boost.

The location of the lake provides wonderful evening sunsets which reflect on the lake making it a photographers dream. Sit and enjoy hot and cold food and an ice cold drink whilst enjoying the ever changing view and enjoy the holiday like atmosphere.

What happens on the day?

There is a minimum age of 16 years for individuals to drive the Jet Bike unaided, however children from 8 years can sit up front and drive under adult supervision.

On arrival at the centre you will be asked to sign a disclaimer (if you have not already completed our downloadable form) prior to participating, (with under 18’s requiring a signature by parent or guardian).

You will get changed and then proceed to the Jetski Briefing Area 10 minutes prior to your session.  Here you will receive a full safety briefing then it’s time to get on the water and begin the fun.

All drivers must complete a supervised practice lap with instructor then the remainder of the time is alone.

We are located at Pingewood near Reading and we have a large clubhouse with excellent changing facilities, showers & toilets. We have vending machines located outside with hot and cold drinks, crisps and snacks + ice cream. Also upstairs in the main clubhouse we have hot food available, ice creams, tea & coffee, snacks and alcohol available from our Bar & Grill with a large balcony overlooking the lake, providing a great view of the watersports.

Whether you're looking for a birthday or anniversary treat, time with the boys and girls on a stag or hen party or a day/evening out unwinding with your work colleagues this is the experience for you. Gift vouchers are also available to purchase for any special occasion.

Our Bar & Grill is great for children's parties during the day and also an exclusive evening venue for a private party from 7pm - 1am. There are also excellent viewing areas around the lake with tables & chairs, so your friends and family can watch all the action. We also have ample main lakeside car-park free of charge with space for around 500 cars.

Prepare to Get Dirty!

Experience the thrill as you drive around our off road anti-clockwise tree lined circuit testing your skills to the max as you tackle dirt and water consisting of numerous turns, straights and chicanes. This is also one of only a few Dirt Buggy circuits in the UK.

Adrenalin junkies will be in their element tackling the challenges facing them on the numerous turns, straights and chicanes.

All drivers will be assessed during their first lap.

Our Dirt Buggy experience is the perfect gift. A great group activity for Stags, Hens, Corporates or just as a celebration.

Weekends and selected weekdays with strict arrival time 45 minutes prior to booked session time.

But don't forget to bring old and spare clothes as you will be getting dirty!!

Please arrive 45 minutes prior to your session time.

On arrival at the centre please proceed to the Dirt Buggy reception. You will be asked to sign a disclaimer (but for ease download this from our website and bring it with you) prior to participating, (with under 18’s requiring a signature by parent or guardian).

Ensure you are in the 'Briefing Area' 15 minutes prior for rules of the track, full safety briefing and driving instruction. Then it’s time to put on your helmet and make your way down to the pit area.

All drivers will be assessed during their first lap and then the time is your own to get down and dirty!

Lagoona Bar & Grill

Lagoona Bar & Grill offers high quality food and drink to all visitors in a family oriented atmosphere. Open daily from 11am – 5pm the Bar & Grill welcomes general visitors to the lake coming to watch the activities, a member with their own jet ski or jet bike, hiring an off road dirt buggy, or having a session on the Inflatable Aqua Park.

We cater for children’s parties with a minimum of 10 children in a sectioned off "Party Zone" area of the room with a happy birthday theme, therefore making the birthday even more special. With the option of pre-ordered hot meals this ensures that when the children arrive that their food is already prepared and waiting for the little darling to devour immediately.

The room has over one hundred covers therefore ensuring that other visitors may also eat inside or outside on the large balcony overlooking our 25 acre lake. The view from the balcony is unobstructed and an ideal way to watch visitors getting wet on the water.

Situated just off junction 11 of the M4 at Reading this exclusive location is located upstairs in our clubhouse accessible via steps to the side of the building close to the lake. It offers everything that you want after enjoying your time either on the water or on our off road dirt buggy track located behind the clubhouse on two acres of land. Alternatively if you are just visiting the site to watch the activities you are welcome to enjoy the food and drink on offer.

The Bar and Grill is decorated in a rustic “grey and red” warehouse theme with wooden scaffold board tables and metal chairs. All tables are interchangeable and can be located wherever required, also high red stools are also an additional feature to the room.

It is also the perfect location for a private party whether it be a birthday, anniversary, christening, wedding reception or just a reason to get together with friends and family and enjoy a fun evening socialising and watching the sun go down on the lake whilst dancing the night away.  The venue available to hire until 1am and is available all year round.

What's Available

We offer a wide range of hot freshly cooked food including a kids menu's making the location a great place to enjoy a meal after being on the water or dirt buggies. Tea and coffee is available and also soft and alcoholic drinks served from our bar within the room. Vending machines are also located around the site for additional snacks plus hot and cold drinks, ice creams & slush drinks to enjoy on the hot days.

Location

Our location is also available to hire for evening private events, whether a birthday celebration, anniversary, christening, Halloween party, New Years Eve or Christmas occasion. With a capacity of 180 persons and a licence until 1am this is a must for any party goer. Also ideal for companies looking for an offsite meeting location followed by a bit of team building on the water or land afterwards.

Parking

We have a secure onsite car park for jetski members only and also a very large car park for jetski visitors & hirers, dirt buggy hirers and also aqua park visitors.  The car park is free and is located just past the jetski members carpark on the right.  There is a path between the road and lake to walk along giving a pleasant view of the lake attractions.

Valid Insurance documents to be provided upon initial visit which will be entered on our members system (minimum public liability £1 million) No charge for additional riders but responsibility lies with the ski owner to ensure that instruction has been provided on machine operation, and they have been taken around the lake as a passenger prior to using the machine alone. All drivers must have read and understand the course layout and rules of our lake. Storage

£40 per month (Jet Ski & Jet Bike) £60 per month (Jet Boats)

Storage is subject to availability and pre-booking is required, especially during the Summer months. Monthly standing order payments on a day in the month to suit you are the preferred option and will eliminate any late payment charges. Sit Down Jet Bikes and Jet Boats are stored outside within a secure locked compound within designated bays. Stand-Up Jet Ski’s are stored within steel containers located in secure locked compound. 24hr CCTV and other major security measures are installed around the facility to ensure total peace of mind. Insurance Liability will be with the owner of the ski, although Lagoona Park will maintain satisfactory security precautions. Any changes to details when booking in must be informed immediately to Lagoona Park. Payment is on a monthly basis ideally via standing order but also quarterly via invoice (late payment will incur additional charges). Please note this is storage only – launching and recovery of the ski is the owner’s responsibility even though we will assist if necessary Notification of cancellation/removal (7 days)

Lagoona Park is a 28 acre multi activity site comprising of a 25 acre weed controlled lake, for Annual & Day Members, Jet Bike Hire, Aqua Park, Dirt Buggies, Bar & Grill and Storage facilities.

We are open 6 days per week (closed Tuesday) from 10:00 – 19:00 light permitting.

We are a family run lake and welcome Members with their own machines from 6 April – 26 October 2019

Hire is available from May – 29 September and includes buoyancy aid, tuition and insurance. Wetsuits are available to hire on site @ £5 per suit, water shoes to purchase @ £6 per pair & towels to purchase @ £5 (NOW CLOSED FOR THE SEASON)

We have a separate car park solely for Members owning a jet bike or jet ski with a double slipway for easy launching. Friends and family arriving in separate vehicles will need to park in our Main Car Park located approximately 80 metres on the right hand side from the members car park. There is no charge for parking.

Our mile long course on the lake must be followed around a selection of buoys in an Anti-Clockwise direction which allows all riders the enjoyment of riding at a speed which suits them (depending on their machine and experience). There is a Notice with Jetski Course and Lake Rules located on the Jetski Reception and at the bottom of the slipway. Please ensure that Members and visitors have read and understand the notice prior to going on the lake.

A separate area to the right of the lake is buoyed off for our Inflatable Aqua Park which opens up on on 4th May at 10am. It is under supervision at all times by qualified lifeguards to ensure maximum safety at all times. THIS AREA IS A RESTRICTED ZONE FOR JET BIKES & JET SKI’S!

NEW COURSE FOR 2019 - Dirt Buggies – Experience the throaty roar of our Dirt Buggies steering around our outdoor anti-clockwise tree lined circuit, designed to challenge you as you undertake our unique dirt track consisting of numerous turns, straights, muddy course and chicanes! Adrenalin junkies will be in their element tackling the challenges facing them on the track.

Dogs are allowed on site but must be kept on a lead AT ALL TIMES and all mess MUST BE CLEARED UP BY OWNER.

We also have a zero tolerance on alcohol & drug consumption whilst using our lake therefore …. “DON’T DRINK TAKE DRUGS AND DRIVE” – anyone under the influence will be asked to leave the site immediately!

NO FOOD OR DRINK TO BE BROUGHT ON SITE AT ANY TIME. Food is available from our vending machines & upstairs at the Bar & Grill in our clubhouse.

  1. Interpretation 1.1 The following definitions and rules of interpretation shall apply in these conditions: “Centre” means Lagoona Park Limited, Pingewood Road South, Pingewood, Reading, Berkshire, RG30 3UH; “Conditions” means these terms and conditions for the provision of Services; “Contract” means the contract between the Centre and the Customer for the provision of Services; “Customer” means any person, company, firm or other legal entity, including any employees, agents or sub-contractors which places an order or purchases a Service from the Centre; “Member” means any person who is an annual or day member at the centre; “Service” means any course, product, service or facility offered by the Centre to the Customer. 1.2 Where the Conditions refer to “We, Us, or Our”, this shall mean the Centre (together with it’s employees, agents and contractors). Where the Conditions refer to “You, Your, or Yourself”, this shall mean the Customer (or the organization you represent or work for). 1.3 The headings in these Conditions are for convenience only and shall not affect their applicability. 1.4 A reference to a law is a reference to as it is in force for the time being taking account of any amendment, extension, application or re-enactment and includes any subordinate legislation for the time being in force made under it. 1.5 Any reference to “writing” or “written” includes email. 2. Application of terms. 2.1 These Conditions are the only conditions upon which the Centre is prepared to deal with the Customer. The Conditions shall be incorporated into the Contact to the entire exclusion of all other terms and conditions (including any terms or conditions which the Customer purports to apply under any purchase order, confirmation of order, specification or other document). 2.2 These Conditions will prevail over any inconsistent terms endorsed on, delivered with, contained in or referred to in any purchase order, confirmation of order, specification or any other document or communication received from the Customer or implied by law, trade custom, practice or course of dealing. 2.3 The Customer’s purchase order, or the Customer’s acceptance of a quotation for Services by the Centre, constitutes an offer by the Customer to purchase the Services specified in it on these Conditions. No offer placed by the Customer shall be accepted by the Centre other than: 2.3.1 by a written acknowledgement issued and executed by the Centre; or 2.3.2 (if earlier) by the Centre starting to provide the Services, when a contract for the supply and purchase of those Services on these Conditions will be established. The Customer’s standard terms and conditions (if any) attached to, enclosed with or referred to in any purchase order or other document shall not govern the Contract. 3. Booking 3.1 The Centre opening hours are from 10.00am – 7.00pm 6 days per week (closed Tuesday) 3.2 All bookings are for the current season i.e. May – end September. Aqua Park from 10-5pm and Jet Bike hire from 10.30 – 5pm 6 days per week. Weekends & selected weekdays for Dirt Buggy Hire 3.3 To find the right experience, please read hire session description carefully available on our website at www.lagoonapark.com under hire, or on our promotion material. When the booking terms and conditions have been read and understood, please make your booking in the following way; 3.3.1 either online via our website www.lagoonapark.com under ‘book now’ completing the booking details as requested or in person on the day. 3.3.2 all hire experiences booked online must be paid prior to arrival. 3.3.3 booking with a Lagoona Park gift voucher must be booked over the telephone or in person. We require; name, contact number, type of experience, date & time of experience & voucher number. Voucher must also be brought to reception upon arrival. 3.3.4 or via gift voucher from another supplier (of which Lagoona Park has an agreement with). In order to confirm booking Lagoona Park requires name, contact number, experience company, date, time, voucher number & booking reference. Voucher to be brought to reception upon arrival. 3.4 Please note that individuals cannot be provided with credit terms. 3.5 An official purchase order will be required to secure a booking with regard to corporate bookings 3.6 customers to be aware of the age limit on personal watercraft for hire (16 years for Jet Bikes). Any minor under 16 years of age using any of our hire fleet will be unable to use the machine alone. A child may accompany an adult as a passenger at an additional charge and any child over 8 years of age can sit at the front and drive the machine under the supervision of the adult as a passenger. 3.6b customers to be aware of the age limit on the aqua park for hire with a minimum age of 6 years and height restriction of 1.2m applies, check website for dirt buggies or ask at specific reception for details. 3.7 all customers to report to the relevant reception (45 minutes prior to their booking time) to complete and sign a hire/disclaimer form if not done so online. (this can also be downloaded from the website, completed and brought to reception upon arrival). Booking confirmation paperwork to be brought to reception as proof of purchase and gift vouchers should be produced also at this time. 3.8 customers to ensure that they are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs at any time whilst using our personal watercraft, aqua park & dirt buggies and understand that they will be refused entry if the centre believes alcohol or drugs have been consumed, they will also lose their session without the ability to rebook and any monies paid lost. 3.9 customers to supervise their children at all times whilst on the park including the car park. 3.10 customers to read and understand the rules of the lake and safety notices located around the site when arriving on site. 3.11 customers to ensure that all dogs are kept on a lead at all times with any mess cleared up. 3.12 customer to ensure that all rubbish is deposited in bins provided around the site. 3.13 customers to ensure that buoyancy aids are worn at all times whilst on the water. 3.14 customers are not allowed to bring food and drink on site at any time as this facility is provided at the centre. 4. Payment 4.1 all fees are inclusive of VAT. All bookings cannot be confirmed or reserved by the Centre until receipt of the appropriate payment is received. 4.2 payment of the hire session is required in full at time of booking for individuals. 4.3 payment for Group bookings (Hire/Stag/Corporate sessions) must be paid in full two (2) weeks prior to the commencement of the event. A 50% deposit would be required at time of booking. 4.4 the Centre reserves the right to cancel any booking without prior notice if full payment is not received in accordance with conditions 4.2, 4.3 or 4.4 (as applicable). 4.5 credit and debit cards accepted are: MasterCard; Visa; Switch and Delta. 4.6 experience providers in association with Lagoona Park selling their own vouchers agree to pay within 30 days after receipt of invoice from Lagoona Park / or entry on the experience providers online invoicing system. 5. Amendments to Hire Bookings by the Customer 5.1 the Customer may change a hire date provided that the original booking is made no less than 48 hours prior to commencement. 5.2 if the Customer requests to cancel a booking, no less than forty eight (48) hours notice must be given, otherwise no refund will be given, such request shall be dealt with according to condition 6 (Cancellations). 6. Cancellations 6.1 cancellations by the Customer must be made no less than forty-eight (48 hours prior to commencement of hire session). After that time no refund will be given due to the lack of time to rebook the session to another person and resulting in lost revenue by the centre. This will be highlighted at time of booking on our terms and conditions. Only consideration would be with proof of a doctor’s certificate. 6.2 customers are advised to insure against and check whether their own personal insurance policy provides cover against certain unavoidable cancellation. 6.3 the Centre will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that your hire session takes place and in accordance with the booking. However, the Centre reserves the right to cancel any booking without prior notice and at any time where we believe on reasonable grounds that cancellation is necessary due to emergency, unsuitable or inclement conditions. 6.4 where the Centre cancels a hire session, Customer will be offered the following options: – a full refund or an alternative date & time. 7. Membership 7.1 annual, day and multi members may visit the lake from April – end October during opening hours from 10.00am – 7.00pm 6 days per week (closed Tuesday) 7.2 all personal watercraft to be removed from the water at 6.30pm for lake closure at 7.00pm 7.3 new Annual & Day members will be required to complete a membership form at initial check in and then photographed and issued with a membership card which must be brought to reception upon each visit and scanned to confirm access to the site upon each visit. 7.4 this card will be reactivated at the beginning of the new season annually. 7.5 loss of the card will result in a £5 replacement charge. 7.6 all members must provide a copy of their current valid personal watercraft insurance upon their first visit and must ensure that expired insurance is updated. 7.7 details of other friends or family using their machine must be noted on the relevant membership form prior to them using the lake. 7.8 any minors using their personal watercraft must be named on insurance and also have completed a RYA Personal Watercraft Proficiency Course therefore agreeing that the minimum age limit for stand up jet ski’s is 14 years and sit down jet bikes is 16 years whilst using any personal watercraft at Lagoona Park. 7.8 all members friends and family may also use the lake during opening hours but will be the responsibility of the member whilst on site both on and off the water. They must also have been made aware of the lake safety notice and rules of the lake located on the Jet Bike Reception wall at the top of the slipway and also at the entrance from the main carpark. They must also wear a buoyancy aid whilst on the water. 7.9 all members are to ensure that anyone using their personal watercraft is insured and legally old enough to ride the machine unaided. Each rider must be trained by the personal watercraft owner on machine controls, use of lanyard, course direction, start and stop procedures, keeping their distance behind other water users and awareness of other riders on the lake, including any persons who may be in the lake due to capsize. They must be taken around the anticlockwise course first as a passenger and then they will take the personal watercraft owner around the same course, ensuring that they are proficient on the machine and therefore in full control whilst on the lake before allowing them to ride alone, including that speed is reduced when coming towards the banks of the lake. 7.10 members & their visitors will not be allowed access if they are under the influence of alcohol or drugs upon arrival at reception. 7.11 members must supervise their children at all times whilst on site and also in the car parks and crossing the slipway. 7.12 members to ensure that all dogs are kept on a lead at all times and any mess cleared. 7.13 no food or drink to be brought on site at any time. 7.14 all rubbish to be placed in the bins provided around the site. 7.16 during weekdays we suggest members phone prior to arrival (due to private hire of the lake) whereby access will be denied 7.18 members to ensure that buoyancy aids are worn at all times whilst on the water, including relaying this to family and friends and children paddling. 8. Storage 8.1 There are several payment methods available either £40 via standing order on a monthly basis, (which is our preferred option and reduces the chance of late payment charges) Customer to set this up via their bank on a day in the month to suit them, with their surname as a reference. Or via BACS, card or cash invoiced on a quarterly basis (£120). 8.2 late payment after 30 days will incur an administration fee of £10 + VAT 8.3 late payment after 60 days will incur an administration fee of £20 + VAT 8.4 late payment after 90 days customer signs to agree that the title of goods shall pass to Lagoona Park who reserve the right to sell the said goods after carrying out any necessary repair work required in order to recoup whatever monies are outstanding at that time including a selling fee of £500 + VAT with the balance of any such sale forwarded to the owner of the personal watercraft, once all costs have been deducted. 8.5 launching and recovery of personal watercraft is the members responsibility (although assistance will be provided if required) 8.6 Lagoona Park will not be held responsible for any damage incurred whilst stored 8.7 insurance liability will be with the owner of the personal watercraft 8.8 storage form must be completed and signed by the owner when storing with Lagoona Park. Any changes to information entered on storage form must be notified to the centre immediately in order that the centre can maintain up to date records. 8.9 satisfactory security precautions will be provided by the centre with CCTV recording in operation at all times, alarm system in operation and security lighting in place. 8.10 a minimum of one week’s notice of cancellation must be given in order to remove the personal watercraft 8.11 access to personal watercraft from the storage area requires prior notice (limited access from Dec – March annually due to closure) 8.12 all personal watercraft must be signed out by a member of staff at reception before leaving the centre. 8.13 the use or removal of a stored personal watercraft from the storage area by a friend or family member will require confirmation from the owner, and must include proof of identity either via driving license or passport before the personal watercraft can be used or removed 8.14 also confirmation that the user is insured and instructed prior by the owner on its operation and is aware of the rules of the lake and safety notices displayed around the site prior to use of the said personal watercraft. This must be done at reception before access will be provided. 8.15 all personal watercraft & trailers stored will be checked for any damage prior to acceptance into the storage area (a note of any damage will be noted on the form and kept on file) and customer will initial to agree to any existing damage at time of initial storage. 9. PWC Insurance Repair 9.1 customer calls to get a quote for the damage to the personal watercraft 9.2 the Centre will forward a quote via email to customer 9.3 the Centre will take photographs of any damage if required 9.4 only when the Centre receives confirmation via email from the insurance company will the work be undertaken 9.5 upon completion of said work an invoice will be forwarded to the customer 9.6 when payment has been made the personal watercraft can be removed from the Centre. 10. Safety 10.1 In addition to enjoyment and learning new skills, safety is of paramount importance at the Centre for all visitors and staff at the site. Clearly any water sports and adventure activities are hazardous by their nature and participants, parents or guardians must accept that there are risks and the inevitable bumps and scrapes which happen during the thrills and spills of fast-moving activities. In providing a safe system of work and to manage associated risks: 10.1.1 we employ staff trained by RYA PWC Instructors; 10.1.2 we have first aiders on site at all times 10.1.3 we provide appropriate clothing and equipment for each hire session but suggest water shoes due to uneven walkways & slippery areas and if glasses are worn something to secure them. 10.1.4 we instruct each and every person hiring our machines on safety both on and off the water, start & stop procedures & awareness of other riders whilst on the lake, including being aware of riders in the lake due to capsize. 10.1.5 the instructor will be taken by the customer using a jet bike around the lake as a passenger showing them the controls of the machine and also the “anti-clockwise course” to ensure that the customer is in control and comfortable to take the controls unaided. 10.2 customer must comply with all safety guidelines and instructions given by the Centre and its staff. 10.3all Customers are responsible for ensuring that he/she and/or its members familiarize themselves with the Centre’s lake rules and safety notices located in many areas close to the lake, around the site and in reception. 10.4 fire regulations and First Aid Post are located in reception in case of emergency. 10.5 all centre jet bikes are visible whilst on the lake via a luminous front locker cover with a number. 10.6 if a customer is under the influence of alcohol or drugs they will not be able to use the lake or equipment and their session will be cancelled without a refund immediately 10.7 buoyancy Aids to be worn by all persons using the lake at all times. 10.8 all lake users must ensure that they reduce the speed of the machine to tick over whilst coming towards the bank. 10.9 customers can bring dogs on site but they must be on a lead, be responsible for them at all times and must clear up any excrement on site. 10.10no food or drink to be brought on site at any time. 11. Health 11.1.1 Customers participating in hire sessions or services at the Centre must be in general good health and must satisfy themselves that the activity is within their abilities (weight restriction applies to jet bikes of 20 stone) which will be advised at time of booking. 11.1.2 The Customer must make the Centre aware of any injuries, disabilities and/or illness. 11.1.3 The Centre reserves the right to refuse a booking on medical grounds if the medical condition is considered to be detrimental to the safety and smooth running of the hire session. 11.1.4the centre reserves the right to refuse a booking if the Customer is under the influence of alcohol or drugs 12. Complaints 12.1 If the Customer encounters a problem or issue relating to the services being provided by the Centre, the Centre will try to resolve such problem or issue as soon as possible. If the problem or issue fails to be resolved, the Customer must report it to the relevant instructor or at the Centre’s reception. 12.2 In the event that the Customer does not receive a satisfactory response following the event the customer may request to meet the Centre’s management team. 13. Unruly Behaviour 13.1 The customer and any member of the customer’s party is required to have consideration for other people. If, in the Centre’s reasonable opinion, the Customer or any member of the Customer’s party behaves in such a way as to cause or be likely to cause danger, upset or distress to any third party or damage to property both on and off the water, the Centre is entitled, without prior written notice, to terminate the use of facilities of the person(s) concerned. Such persons will be required to leave the Centre’s property and no refunds will be made and the centre will not pay any expenses or costs incurred as a result of the termination 13.2 The Customer shall be liable for any damage or loss suffered by the Centre as a result of disruptive behaviour. 13.3 No splashing spectators or any children at any time 13.4 If a customer has evidence of drinking or alcohol can be detected they will be refused permission to hire any watercraft as the centre has a strict No Alcohol Policy. 14. Limitations of Liability – THE CUSTOMER’S ATTENTION IS PARTICULARLY DRAWN TO THE PROVISONS OF THIS CONDITION 14.1 This Condition 11 sets out the entire financial liability of the Centre (including any liability for the acts or omissions of its employees, agents and subcontractors) to the Customer in respect of: 14.1.1 any breach of the Contract; 14.1.2 any use made by the Customer of the Services; 14.1.3 any representation, statement or tortuous act or omission (including negligence) arising under or in connection with this Contract. 14.2 All warranties, conditions and other terms implied by statute or common law are, to the fullest extent permitted by law, excluded from the Contract. 14.3 Nothing in these Conditions limits or excludes the liability of the Centre: 14.3.1 for death or personal injury resulting from negligence by the Centre; or 14.3.2 for any damage or liability incurred by the Customer as a result of fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation by the Centre. 14.4 Personal property which belongs to the Customer is at all times the sole responsibility of the Customer. The Centre shall not accept any liability for loss of or damage caused to the Customer’s personal property unless any loss or damage is due to the negligence of the Centre or its representatives. 14.4.1 the centre has lockers at reception in order to store any customers personal items 14.5 Subject to conditions 14.2, 14.3 and 14.4: 14.5.1 the Centre shall not be liable, whether in tort (including for negligence or breach of statutory duty), contract, misrepresentation or otherwise for: loss of profits; loss of business; depletion of goodwill and/or similar losses; loss of anticipated savings; loss of goods; loss of contract; loss of use; loss of corruption of data or information; or any special, indirect, consequential or pure economic loss, costs, damages, charges or expenses; and 14.5.2 the Centre’s total liability in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty), misrepresentation, restitution or otherwise arising in connection with the performance or contemplated performance of the Contract shall be limited to the price paid by the Customer for the Services. 14.6 For the avoidance of doubt, the Centre shall have no liability for any loss or damage suffered by the Customer or any other person as a consequence of any negligence or wrongful act on the part of the Customer. 14.7 The Customer is advised to insure against injury or losses incurred during their booking with the Centre and arrange suitable medical cover for such booking. 15. Intellectual Property The copyright and all other intellectual property rights in the products and services shown in Centre’s brochures, website and other materials shall at all times remain the property of the Centre. 16. Photographs 16.1 photographs taken at Lagoona Park may appear in our brochure, Website, Facebook & Instagram pages and marketing materials. 16.2 if the Customers does not wish to be photographed this should be raised with the photographer. 16.3 all photos taken are copyrighted by Lagoona Park and must not be copied in whole or in part without the express permission of Lagoona Park. 16.4 any person wishing to take photographs at the centre needs to acquire confirmation prior to proceeding. 17. Data Protection 17.1 Lagoona Park takes appropriate measures to prevent unauthorized or unlawful processing of personal data. Personal information requested by the Centre at the time of booking or any other subsequent information is held in its original form and on computer. 17.2 The Centre: 17.2.1 is the data controller for the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998; 17.2.2 will process your personal information in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998; and 17.2.3 will not divulge your personal information onto third parties. 17.3 by providing us with your personal information to process a booking, you agree that your personal information can be: 17.3.1 held and accessed by the Centre’s authorised staff; and 17.3.2 used to contact you in the future either by email or post to send you e-news and/or marketing materials (including information about future events). 17.4 you can exercise your right to opt out of receiving such e-news and/or marketing materials at any time by contacting us by email at enquiries@lagoonapark.com or by telephone on 0118 988 5959. 18. Circumstances Beyond our Control The Centre shall have no liability to the Customer under the Contract if it is prevented from or delayed in performing its obligations under the Contract or from carrying on its business directly or indirectly by any acts, events, omissions or accidents beyond it’s reasonable control including but not limited to, act of God, war, invasion, rebellion, riot, civil commotion, disorder, malicious damage, fire, flood, epidemic, quarantine restriction, strikes, lock-outs or other industrial disputes (whether involving the workforce of the Centre or any other party), failure of a utility service or transport network, compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, accident, breakdown of plant or machinery, unusually severe weather or energy supply disruption or default of suppliers or subcontractors. 19. Rights of Third Parties A person who is not a party to this agreement (except where applicable) any successors and (permitted assigns) shall not have any rights under or in connection with it by virtue of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999. 20. Waiver The Centre reserves the right to waive any or all Conditions. 21. Quality Control Lagoona Park endeavour to provide the best quality experience service to all customers visiting our premises. 23. Insurance Full Employer and Public Liability Insurance is valid and renewed annually. 24. Applicable Law 24.1 The Contract and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. 24.2 The Customer irrevocably agrees that any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with the Contract or its subject matter will be dealt with under the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. 25. Booking Form Undertaking PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT CAREFULLY. THE CENTRE’S ACCEPTANCE OF ANY BOOKING WILL ONLY BE DONE SUBJECT TO YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE CONDITIONS. You, the Customer, have had the terms and conditions of booking brought to your attention, including the terms of cancellation and you understand that: – the deposit is not refundable once a booking has been confirmed, unless the hire session is cancelled by the Centre; – refunds due to cancellation are in accordance with the terms and conditions of booking; – you shall be liable to pay the session fees if less than forty eight (48) hours’ notice of cancellation is given; – you shall forfeit all fees if less than forty eight (48) hours’ notice of cancellation is given; – by making this booking you agree that you are: – sufficiently proficient in water to undertake the hire session in connection with your booking; – physically fit to take part in any activity during hire session in connection with your booking; willing to comply with all safety – – regulations as required by the Centre; – aware that we have advised you to be in possession of adequate cancellation insurance against certain unavoidable cancellation.- – aware and agree to comply with our No Alcohol Policy whilst using our machines – you have read and accept our full terms and conditions which are also available on our website www.lagoonapark.com or by contacting our bookings department on 0118 988 5959; and – you accept that the Centre is not liable whatsoever in respect of loss or damage to personal property not caused by the negligence of the Centre or its staff. Whilst every effort has been made to ensure accuracy in this publication, the Centre can accept no liability whatsoever for any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, or for any matter in any way connected with or arising out of the publication of this information.
